GRANT TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES: University of Utah's School Psychology Program
The School Psychology program at the University of Utah is offering grant supported training at both the doctoral and masters' level. Multi-year funding is available for doctoral students who intend to pursue careers in academics and are also interested in studying autism. One or two years of support is available for masters' level graduate students who plan to work as school psychologists with children and adolescents who have externalizing disorders (e.g., Conduct Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorders, ADHD) and secondary school students with autism. The annual stipend for Ph.D. students is $17,500 (plus tuition waiver), and for masters-level students the stipends range from $14,500 to $15,000 (plus tuition waiver). Only U.S. citizens are eligible for funding as the projects are supported through the U.S. Department of Education. All interested parties are encouraged to apply. We would like to especially encourage individuals who are ethnic minorities and have disabilities to apply. Please go to our School Psychology program website (http://schoolpsych.ed.utah.edu/) for application information. Applicants are also encouraged to contact the grant directors, Bill Jenson (bill.jenson@utah.edu) or Elaine Clark (el.clark@utah.edu).
